Icons

8 x 60 for BBC Two
January 2019

An eight-part history series for BBC Two celebrating the achievements of some of the greatest figures of the 20th century. The audience vote for their favourite and ultimately decide who is the greatest icon of them all.

Seven celebrity advocates front hour-long documentaries passionately arguing the case for Greats from different fields of human excellence.  At the end of each documentary viewers vote for their favourite.

The icon who won the public vote in each category are debated in a live final. All the celebrity advocates return to fight their icon’s case, and that of the field they triumphed in. Viewers vote once again to decide who is ultimately the greatest figure of the 20th century.

“this commendable series on the lives of influential figures gets my vote.”- The Guardian
